Frequently Asked Questions

How do I create an account?

When you first open HariiSuku, you will go through a quick onboarding where you choose your name, avatar, grade level, and your first suku. An anonymous account is created automatically. You can optionally link an email for account recovery in Settings.

I lost my game progress. Can I recover it?

If you linked an email to your account, you can recover your progress by signing in on a new device. If you did not link an email, unfortunately we cannot recover anonymous accounts. We strongly recommend linking an email in Settings to protect your progress.

Can I play on multiple devices?

Yes, if you have linked an email to your account. Sign in with the same account on any Android device and your progress will sync automatically when you are online.

Does the game work offline?

Yes. HariiSuku is designed offline-first. You can spin the quiz wheel, answer questions, build your village, and play education games without an internet connection. Your progress will sync to the server when you reconnect. Leaderboards and social features require an internet connection.

What subjects are covered in the quiz?

HariiSuku covers 8 subjects aligned to the Timor-Leste 2026 national curriculum: Mathematics, Natural Science, Social Science, English, Human Fraternity, Tetum, Portuguese, and Religion. Questions are available for Grades 4-9 with adaptive difficulty.

How do I become Xefe of my suku?

Each suku has a power threshold based on its star rating (1-5 stars). Earn power by building structures, planting crops, answering quiz questions, and completing trade routes. Once your power reaches the threshold, you become Xefe (leader) of that suku and can claim a new one.

How can my school use HariiSuku?

Contact us at [email protected] to discuss school deployment. We recommend two structured 30-40 minute sessions per week integrated into class time. Teachers get access to a dashboard for tracking student progress and subject mastery. The app runs on standard Android phones and works without internet.

Is there a teacher dashboard?

Yes. The Teacher Dashboard provides real-time analytics on student progress, quiz accuracy by subject, engagement metrics, and learning streaks. All data shown is real student data, never synthetic or estimated. Contact us to set up teacher access for your school.

What devices does HariiSuku support?

HariiSuku is currently available for Android devices (Android 7.0 and above). The app is optimized for low-end devices with 2GB RAM. An iOS version is planned for the future.

I found a bug. How do I report it?

Please email us at [email protected] with a description of the issue, what you were doing when it happened, and your device model if possible. Screenshots are very helpful. We appreciate your help in making HariiSuku better.
